In 1993, dark blue cardback GI Joe sets released a year ealier (in 1992) in the US were rebadged and sold as Action Man in other regions including EU and UK. The very early releases had a red lettered “Action Man” sticker covering the GI Joe branding, but later was redesigned to make do without the sticker but keeping the red lettered “Action Man” branding.
Later on the dark blue cardback would be dropped and the packaging redesigned exclusively for Action Man, introducing the classic “Action Man” logo over an orange corner for the first time. After the redesign, this set was renamed and sold as “Infantry Pack”.
